Eliza is drawn to create vessels that explore contradictions, juxtaposition and challenge preconceptions.
In this body of work, we find the sweet and appealing notion of the bud vase has become something unclassifiable. It is no longer static but lively; the three appear in conversation. Instead of a simple form, we find grotesque anthropomorphic forms with fleshy shapes and limbs. At once repulsive and intriguing.
